The Independent Commissioner Against Corruption and Office for Public Integrity commenced in 2013.  Public authorities and public officers must report to the Office for Public Integrity all matters reasonably suspected of involving corruption, or serious or systemic misconduct or maladministration in South Australian public administration (which includes local government employees and elected members)


Contractors performing work for Councils may be public officers.  Contractors should be aware of their reporting obligations and that they themselves may be reported and investigated by ICAC.  A Contractors brochure providing more information can be downloaded here: ICAC Contractor Brochure
